Committee on Consultative

Committee on Consultative of the Southern Provincial Council has been constituted under Rule No. 93 of the Standing orders of the southern provincial council. Advise the Chairman on matters relating to allocation and other matters relating to the functioning of the house and makes recommendations matters referred to the Chair of the house for Recommendations on Privileges. There are Seven Members.

    Activities

01. Giving recommendations on government functions submitted to the Provincial Council.


02. Giving recommendations to the petitions submitted to the Vigilance committee.br


03. Examining whether the petitions submitted to the Public Petitions Committee belong to the subject of the Provincial Council.


04. Approving the proposals made by the Members of the council to check whether the issues are relevant to the subject of the Provincial Council and to include them in the Order Paper of the Provincial Council.


05. Allocating time for the business of the House.
